You asked for bus bars to connect batteries, solar panels, grounds, and projects in general. BDBatteries looked high and low for an outfit that met both our "World View" and "the products you want". We wanted to find "CARBON NEUTRAL" production of all of these accessories. We now produce our own aluminum bus bars, in house, from recycled materials and biomass, and offer them directly to you. Originally concieved as rough metal bars for welding, mending straps, and other construction purposes, we find them to be excellent bus bars. The fact that they too are made from 100% recycled material makes them carbon neutral as well.
Since we offer several different metals to choose from, we felt a little bit of discussion was in order. Made from a variety of the best metals one can acquire, RUFF STRAPS and BDBUSS bars come in Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, and Aluminum. The Carbon Steel Straps are the strongest, but should be coated or covered to avoid corrosion. The Stainless Steel RUFF Strap is an ideal buss bar for corrosive environments where the strength characteristics of aluminum are not adequate. Aluminum, the most conductive of our bars, is far cheaper than copper, but not quite as conductive. What is a bus bar? A bus bar is a solid metal interconnection in a circuit. Simply hook lots of stuff up to one place, and call it a buss bar. They come in many shapes and sizes. The point is, electricity is conducted across a bus bar to one, or many wires. When Bus Bars are used between batteries, they are designed in for structural integrity. Copper wires can be used in addition to a steel bus bar, across the same connection (creating two electrical paths) to increase conductivity and reduce efficiency losses for steel connections required for structural integrity.

Nuts, bolts, washers, and drill bits are cheap, and readily avialable locally. We suggest using a drill press for ease, but a hand held drill works fine too. The steel above is strong stuff, we reccommend drilling a pilot hole, and then increasing the diameter of the hole to ease tooling. Remember to use water or cutting oil to keep everything cool.
