New "T" Terminal Motive Batteries: The part numbers with the suffix "T" employ the new Copper Alloy Threaded Insert Terminal. Threaded insert is metric M8 except the AGM-1234T & AGM-1240T which are M6. Terminal Options: All "T" type part numbers (except for AGM-1234T & AGM-1240T) are also available with either a copper bolt on "L" blade or a screw on "A" (automotive) type terminal as options. The "L" blade copper terminals accommodate M8 bolts. All batteries are supplied with silicone bronze nuts, bolts, lock washers & washers as applicable. When ordering optional terminal types, add either an "L" or an "A" to the end of the part number and terminal options will be installed at the factory. Inventory Terminal Options: Choosing to stock the standard "T" type terminals are standard as they reduce battery warehouse inventory. You can order the optional "L" or "A" terminal adapter kits for any of these batteries listed on the motive battery specification sheets. In this case do not add an "L" or an "A" to the end of the part number, just contact us directly after you have made an order. Motive Batteries are UL listed. Approved to be in Federal Buildings. This coveted mark, and subsequent testing of these motive batteries was done by the manufacturer to ease customer`s ability to install their products and use them anywhere. Now UL approved paperwork is available from both the manufacturer, and this website. UL Battery Documentation - UL Listed Batteries Please note: Part numbers not available with the "T" type threaded insert terminal are the AGM-12210, AGM-12255, & AGM-6100. These parts are available with a copper "L" blade type terminal connection only. Handles: "T" models = built in handles. Handles not available on part numbers AGM-1248T, AGM-1255T, AGM-6100L and AGM-6220T models. Part numbers AGM-12210 and AGM-12255 are equipped with rope handles. Ratings: Capacity ratings are stated at 77 F (25 C) to 1.75 volts per cell. Drawings: Click on the battery part number on the specification sheet above.. Charging Instructions: Initial charge or recharge - 2.37 to 2.40 volts per cell at 25 C (77 F). Float charge - 2.20 to 2.22 volts per cell at 25 C (77 F). Equalize charge - 2.40 volts per cell at 25 C (77 F). Temperature compensation - ±3.75 mV. per cell per degree C [Reference to 25 C (77 F)]. This is for battery temperature (not ambient temperature) and is useful for battery temperatures from 0 C to 40 C. Contact Concorde Battery Corporation for temperatures that exceed this range.
