Diodes for Wind, Solar, and AGM Battery Projects
What is a diode? Simply an electronic one way road.
 >Diodes are used for blocking batteries ability to charge the power grid.<
>Diodes keep batteries from charging solar panels.<
>Diodes keep batteries from charging wind generators<
Without diodes properly installed in your renewable energy system, be it wind, water, or solar, your batteries will never operate correctly.
We sell 85 Amp diodes that are stud mounted.
Because the silicon junction is carefully fitted within a glass to–metal hermetically sealed case, reliable
operation is assured, even with extreme humidity and under other severe environmental conditions.
A double diffused, passivated junction technique is utilized to provide stable uniform electrical characteristics.
Inherent in their design are very low leakage currents and excellent surge handling capability.
These Current Blocking diodes are ideal for a broad range of commercial and military uses including power
supplies, renewable energy generation, ultrasonic systems, inverters, welders, emergency generators, battery chargers, DC motors, backup power supplies,
and motor controls. If you need a diode other than you see listed, drop us a line via the contact page, and we will do our best to help you out.
All renewable energy systems, be they solar, hydro or wind, need a blocking diode to block the battery/grid from charging the system. These diodes will safely block up to 85 Amps sustained at 200 Volts. For larger loads see the 600 volt model.
