DC Dumpload Systems, Eat Power Effectively
NEC Electrical code stipulates that all electrical generation systems involving batteries have at least 2 dump loads available to divert energy away from the batteries when fully charged.
This serves 3 purposes.-
Protects Batteries from Overcharging and subsequent gassing.
- Redundant Dumpload systems ensure adquate dump in case of failure.

Keep the amperage and voltage in the system from "backing" up, short circuiting, or blowing fuses in the system.

This diversion load Whisper Controller ensures quiet safe operation of your Whisper 500. When your batteries are charged, the excess load will be dumped instead of overcharging your batteries.
