The PVX-1040T Photovoltaic and Solar Battery
PVX-1040T Renewable Energy Storage Batteries Sun Xtender Solar Series Batteries Manufactured by Concorde Battery Corporation
The PVX-1040T from SunXtender is a Deep Cycle AGM battery. Used in many deep cycle applications, this premium AGM battery is an investment.
Due to industry leading low internal resistance, batteries are rated for exceptionally high charge rates, facilitating large solar arrays. This 104 amp battery rated to take 520 amp charge*. Be careful, the battery will be full in minutes.
The SunXtender PVX-1040T also boasts industry leading life cycles, and longevity. Systems designed with only a 20% DOD will see 2000 cycles, 50% DOD routinely and still get 1000 cycles from these batteries.
HazMat Exempt, UL approved, both make the insurance companies happy. The premium savings alone is worth the investment.
Maintenance free, won't leak acid, out gas @ less than 2% by volumne, and both fire, and explosion resistant for maximum safety.

SOLAR BATTERY CHARGING INSTRUCTIONS For the PVX-1040T
The PVX-1040T battery, at 12 volt, 104 amp hours.Chargers and charge controllers up to 520 amps.
Initial charge, bulk, or recharge: 14.22 to 14.4 volts at 25° C (77° F).
Float charge: 13.2 to 13.32 volts at 25° C (77° F).
Equalize charge: 14.4 to 14.4 at 25 C° (77° F)**.
Temperature compensation = ±3.75 mV. per cell per degree C [Reference to 25° C (77° F)].
Battery temperature (not ambient), valid for temperatures from 0° C (32° F) to 40° C (104° F).
* A battery is a power tank. A full battery can accept no more power, no matter how much the charger, charge controller, or directly connect generator can contribute to the system.
**AGM Batteries are sealed by the manufacturer. These solar batteries are UL approved because of this seal. However, this design prevents the addition of water to your solar battery. An equalize charge is a deliberate boiling of the electrolyte under an overcharge condition to "FORCE" power back into the system. Although this may recover elder solar batteries, it may also run them out of electrolyte, rendering your bank of solar batteries useless. The manufacturer reccommends you equalize your batteries only 2 times over their lifespan.
